Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

When you use Carzie, we collect the following content that you voluntarily provide:

• Vehicle photos: the photos of your car you upload to generate AI scenes and videos.
• AI-generated content: the images and videos our AI models create based on your uploaded photos.

1.2 Automatically collected information

To maintain and improve the App, we automatically collect limited technical information:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version, usage statistics, and crash/error logs (via Firebase Analytics)
• An anonymous device identifier (used to link your credit balance and history to your device)
• Purchase transaction metadata (processed via Apple — your payment card details never reach us)

What we don't collect

Carzie is designed with privacy in mind. We explicitly do not collect:

• Your name, email, or contact information, unless you voluntarily provide it for a support request
• Precise GPS or location data
• Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking — we don't use any ad SDKs
• Third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes

How we use your information

• To provide the service: your uploaded vehicle photos are processed to generate the scene, image, or video you request.
• To maintain the App: technical logs help us find bugs, improve performance, and build new features.
• To communicate with you: if you contact support, we use your details only to respond to your request.
• To keep the App secure: we monitor usage patterns to prevent abuse and fraud.

AI generation & third-party services

4.1 Third-party AI processing

Carzie uses specialized third-party AI image and video processing providers to generate your vehicle's scenes and videos. When you request a generation, your uploaded photo is securely transmitted to that provider solely for the purpose of creating the content you requested. That provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and security practices.

4.2 Your consent

Before your photo is sent to any third-party AI provider, you initiate the generation yourself within the App — this constitutes your consent to that processing. You're always free not to start a generation you don't want processed.

4.3 AI model training

By default: we do not use your uploaded photos or generated content to train our own or any third-party AI models. Your content is used exclusively to deliver the service you requested.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR and similar laws)

If you're located in the EEA, UK, or a region with similar data protection laws, we process your data on these legal bases:

• Consent: you provide explicit consent when you upload a photo and request a generation; you can withdraw this at any time.
• Performance of a contract: we process data to provide the service described in our Terms of Service.
• Legitimate interests: we may process limited technical data to improve the App, ensure security, and prevent fraud.

• In-app deletion: delete any generated content from the Gallery at any time.
• Full deletion: to request complete removal of your data from our systems, email us using the address below.

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

• Right to access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to deletion: ask us to delete your personal data
• Right to portability: request your data in a portable format
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time
• Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests

Children's privacy

Carzie is not intended for individuals under the age of 16 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under this age. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it as quickly as possible.

Security

• Encryption: all data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Secure storage: your photos and generated content are stored on access-controlled servers.
• Limited access: only authorized personnel can access your data, and only when needed to provide support.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you have a security concern, please contact us below.

International data transfers

Carzie may process and store your data in countries other than your own. The third-party services we rely on (our AI image/video processing providers, Google Firebase, our payment infrastructure) may also process data in various locations worldwide. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by relevant data protection authorities.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date above and notify you within the App if required. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know: request disclosure of the personal information we collect, use, and share
• Right to delete: request deletion of your personal information
• Right to opt out: opt out of the "sale" of personal information (note: we do not sell your personal information)
